The Rose Circle Mentoring Network will be holding an informational meeting for adults interested in mentoring youth. The meeting will be held on Monday, June 8, 2009 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Hidden Springs Wellness Center, 1651 Siskiyou Blvd., behind the Daily Tidings in Ashland.The meeting will feature members of the community who have been part of the Rose Circle’s programs: adult mentors, youth who have participated in mentorship circles and the four trainers who will co-facilitate the upcoming mentor training, June 26-28. An orientation to the training weekend will be provided, and as well as information on future volunteer opportunities.The Rose Circle Mentoring Network matches men and women with boys and girls for 1-on-1 mentoring relationships and/or mentorship circles in our community and in the Phoenix-Talent school district.
