Description: This landscape design course expands where the basic PDC leaves off. This is a professional level course covering the entire design process: goal setting, site assessment, concept development, design, implementation and maintenance. You will go in-depth about how to plan for patch succession, select the appropriate plant species, build guilds and how to establish your forest garden. Introductions drawing and computer automated design (CAD) skills will also be covered. You will will get hands-on designing time on a project that you bring to the course. This course is ideal for professional landscape continuing education.
