Journey deep within yourself and return transformed, refined, and elevated as we explore the chakras.

This retreat provides a detailed understanding of the chakra system. Chakras are spinning wheels of energy where mental body and energy body vibrates with universal energy. We will reveal chakra psychology, pranayama and meditation to bring harmony and spiral the energy up the chakras.

Each day our practice will begin with a dynamic, yang practice to stimulate the chakras. Afternoon sessions will be yin or restorative in nature, where we will reveal the emotional, and energetic effects.  Strengthen your immune system, calm the nerves, detoxify your organs, open your heart and move the energy throughout your entire body as you feel more alive!

This is a journey that will take you through the transformation of consciousness. Awakening the awareness of integration of mind and body, spirit and matter and thus creating a harmony in all the dimensions of yourself. This is perfect for those who want to relieve stress and unblock mental & physical barriers to live the best life ever!

The Retreat Center

This wildlife and yoga retreat sanctuary is perched 1000 yards slightly above the Pacific Ocean in Cabuya at the southernmost tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, which is one of only five Blue Zones in the entire world by having a large concentration of centenarians living in the area. It is only two miles from Costa Rica’s first National Nature Preserve, Reserva Cabo Blanco and the quaint artistic beach-town of Montezuma.

Our guests will be introduced to the bountiful gifts of Mother Nature from the moment of their arrival as they walk for 15 minutes over jungle and river paths to reach the grounds of The Sanctuary. Nestled between two rivers with waterfalls that flow year round, our private park is home to countless species of flora and fauna; including exotic mammals, birds, butterflies, reptiles and amphibians that are common to Central America. The Sanctuary at Two Rivers Yoga Retreat & Teacher Training Center’s fortunate geography allows for a mild, nearly mosquito-free climate with cool refreshing breezes cascading throughout the rolling grounds, making one’s stay remarkably comfortable even when beach temperatures are soaring.

Teachers: Michelle McKeever & Warren Bishop

 Michelle McKeever

Her yoga classes are a dynamic fusion of various styles – Chakra, vinyasa flow, anusara, kundalini, insight, and yin. Her classes bring together clear alignment, imagination, feeling, fun, and most importantly celebration of where you are right now. “I love to use self-inquiry to fuel transformation and awakening, creating safe, empowering environments for people to let go and explore their inner potential. I teach from the heart in a playful, joyful & fun way  focusing on helping everyone express their own beauty.”

Warren Bishop

Warren immersed himself in yoga 20 years ago on the beaches of Palolem, India. After years of intense practice and mediation in Asia, he aspired to deepen his experience by taking the seat of the teacher. He studied in a 9 month full time program at Yoga Arts in Byron Bay, Australia – with emphasis on strict Iyengar alignment, the dynamic movement and power of Ashtanga, stillness of meditation, and power of pranayama. His classes are a challenging blend of balance, strength, fun, awareness of breath and being present with what is.
