        St. Clair Productions presents Ellis Paul with Rebecca Loebe opening on Friday, May 3, 8 p.m., at the Unitarian Fellowship, 87 4th St., Ashland.  Tickets are $18 in advance, $20 at the door, $10 for teens 12-17 and free under 12.  Tickets are available at the Music Coop, on-line at www.stclairevents.com or by calling 541-535-3562.

 

            Paul has earned 14 Boston Music Awards. The mayor of Boston, Thomas M. Menino, proclaim it "Ellis Paul Day in Boston" on July 9th, 2010 when Paul celebrated his 20th year in making music.  He has 18 recordings of his own and his music has appeared on more than 50 compilation CDs.  Paul has shared the stage with Pete Seeger, John Mayer, Arlo Guthrie, Richie Havens, Dar Williams, and Shawn Colvin, to name a few. 

 

            Paul’s 2011 release The Day After Everything Changed was recorded in Nashville and 100% funded by his fans. The Farrelly Brothers latest movie Hall Pass showcases 9 musical tracks off The Day After Everything Changed as the score of this hit movie.

            Loebe was a finalist on NBC’s primetime competition show The Voice in 2011.  She was named as one of Music Connection Magazine’s Top 100 Unsigned Artists.  Her Indie release Mystery Prize spent nine weeks on the Americana Top 40 Chart and named one of the AMA’s top 100 Albums of 2010.  Loebe is a Kerville New Folk Award winner and a Falcon Ridge Emerging Artist.
