The Bee Conscience group, Goddess Temple of Ashland, and Banyan Botanicals  are hosting a screening of the movie Vanishing of the Bees on May 1st from 7pm to 9pm at Jackson Wellsprings Community Room. This is a part of the Goddess Temple Spiritual Film Series held the first Sunday of every month. They ask for a $10 donation, but no one will be turned away - donate what you can as this helps pay for the film license and use of the space.  Free organic popcorn will be served. 

Movie Synopsis:  Filming across the US, in Europe, Australia and Asia, this documentary examines the alarming disappearance of honeybees and the greater meaning it holds about the relationship between mankind and mother earth. As scientists puzzle over the cause, organic beekeepers indicate alternative reasons for this tragic loss. Conflicting options abound and after years of research, a definitive answer has not been found to this harrowing mystery.  Narrated by Ellen Page
