ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum has turned Earth Day into Earth Week, April 19th to 23rd, with five days of activities and speakers, all culminating with the 10th anniversary celebration of Rogue Valley Earth Day on April 23rd.
There will be hands-on exhibits teaching about protecting our earth, and each night a dynamic speaker will present the latest information on green businesses, technologies, and homes, as well as alternative wave energy, plans for our national parks and corporations that promote sustainability.
Wednesday, April 20: Tonight’s speaker is Jason Busch, executive director of Oregon Wave Energy Trust. Jason will teache about wave energy as an alternative energy source and its impacts on our future.
