ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum has turned Earth Day into Earth Week, April 19th to 23rd, with five days of activities and speakers, all culminating with the 10th anniversary celebration of Rogue Valley Earth Day on April 23rd.
There will be hands-on exhibits teaching about protecting our earth, and each night a dynamic speaker will present the latest information on green businesses, technologies, and homes, as well as alternative wave energy, plans for our national parks and corporations that promote sustainability.
Friday, April 22: Tonight’s speaker is Steve Schein, senior instructor at Southern Oregon University’s School of Business. Mr. Schein has traveled the world to interview top corporate leaders who are integrating sustainability into their leadership, strategies and culture. Learn how this is changing the face of business.
