Hidden Springs welcomes two time Olympian Marilyn King for two events in April.
Marilyn was already a two-time Olympian when a devastating automobile accident left her unable to train physically for her third Olympic team. With only pool sessions and bench pressing she spent 3-4 hour/day in mental training and placed second in the demanding 5-event pentathlon at the 1980 Olympic Trials. Since then, she has become one of America’s leading authorities on exceptional human performance.

This afternoon workshop is for those experienced in Marilyn’s model that feel called to lead. Many around the world see 2012 as a turning point in time. Olympians are focused on London in July, we Americans go to the polls for a pivotal election, and the Mayan Calendar marks December as a turning point in human history. What exactly lies ahead? Events in the Middle East and the earthquake and tsunami in Japan remind us of how small the world has become, how important preparation is, and how rarely we are adequately prepared for significant events, whether they be brought on by nature or by humankind.
