St. Clair Productions presents Crooked Still in concert on Friday, November 4, 8 p.m., at the Unitarian Fellowship, 87 4th St., Ashland. Tickets are $20 in advance, $22 at the door, $10 for teens 12-17 and free under 12.  Tickets are available at the Music Coop in downtown Ashland, on-line at www.stclairevents.com or by calling 541-535-3562.

Purveyors of the nu-folk, bluegrass movement, Crooked Still is Aoife O'Donovan on vocals, guitar, baritone ukulele, piano, glockenspiel; Gregory Liszt on Banjo; Brittany Haas on five string fiddle; Tristan Clarridge on cello, fiddle; and Corey DiMario on double bass, tenor guitar.

Crooked Still performs improvised old time music, bluegrass, folk and their own songs within the broad context of a string band. Like the music of a lot of today's bands, Crooked Still’s music has modern and traditional influences that confuse the boundaries.
