Monthly at the Medford Senior Center the Southern Oregon office of the Alzheimer's Association offers a free class on a different Alzheimer's or related dementia topic.July 27 will be "Creating a Safe Environment" and we will talk about safety in the home, in the community and our Medic Alert/Safe Return Program.Local Medford Police Officers will also be in attendance to discuss the dangers of wandering for those with dementia.This program is vital for those caring for a loved one with dementia. The program is FREE but we do ask that participants register by calling 541-772-2273
