In this free Community Lecture, Perry Prince describes his work providing humanitarian aid in the Nakivale refugee camp in Uganda, a settlement of 34,000 Congolese refugees. Prince, who has been serving with the American Red Cross and other NGOs to rebuild communities as a psychosocial worker and cultural interpreter, provides background on the political situation and other circumstances that have forced so many to flee their country and offers ideas about restoring community and stability to people who have been traumatized, uprooted and relocated.
