Make your own fertilizer for your summer garden!
Learn how to brew an aerated compost tea. Compost tea is a nutrient and biologically rich solution that can be applied as a foliar spray or a soil drench. Compost tea can save you money by reducing the need for many external synthetic inputs into your garden. We will discuss the many ways to brew compost tea, but will primarily focus on aerated compost tea.
Cost is $35. All participants will receive some compost tea to take home with them, as well as some mycorrhizae and compost worms if they like.
For an optional $50 materials fee you will receive all the equipment to build your own brewer in class.
