This sustainable living festival features music, speakers, a product, services & ideas Expo exploring lifestyles of wellness and sustainability, as well as kids activities/youth activism and the outdoor terrace Eco-Cafe & Lounge featuring local/organic food, micro-brews and wine.
The Celebration is honored to have Santa Fe icon, Paolo Soleri, the renowned archictect who will be celebrating his 90th birthday in June, grace our stage. Paolo Soleri is the founder and creator of Arizona's Arcosanti project and designer of Santa Fe's famous Paolo Soleri Amphitheater. John Robbins, the bestselling author of Diet for a New America, Food Revolution and Healthy at 100 will speak to us about how your diet can help save your life and the world.
Evening concerts with New Mexico favorites, Big Head Todd and the Monsters and Tosh Meets Marley featuring members of the legendary Bob Marley and Peter Tosh bands, will spread the positive vibrations. America's #1 Populist, Jim Hightower, national radio commentator and author of Swim Against the Current-Even a Dead Fish Can Go With the Flow, will engage the audience with his fiery and funny presentation.
Empowerment coach, Niurka, social activist Aqeela Sherrills, along with Santa Fe's favorite local bands, Paul Rivers Bailey and Rubixzu, will create a festive and inspirational weekend appropriately held in the beautiful new LEED silver rated Santa Fe Convention Center. The new Convention Center stands on the site of the former convention center; 88% of the demolition materials and 75% of the new construction were recycled.
The Weekend Celebration will be an indoor/outdoor event, using the state of the art ballroom and meeting rooms, as well as the outdoor courtyard and rooftop terraces for its interactive Expo with over 100 booths & 50 classes exploring lifestyles of wellness and sustainability, the Kidspace with activities for kids of all ages and an eco-friendly cafe & lounge featuring local food, beer & wine on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Main Stage and downtown Santa Fe.
The Celebration will partially benefit Earth Care International, an organization dedicated to engaging teens to create a just, thriving and sustainable world.
