Camp Gesher: Building Bridges to Friendship

Camp Gesher is a day camp for children entering Kindergarten through 7th grade, and is a joint effort between Temple Emek Shalom and Havurah Shir Hadash. Camp Gesher, in its fifth year continues to be a huge success, offering a fun Jewish experience and a great way to build friendships and a positive Jewish identity. Camp Gesher offers children in the Rogue Valley, local and tourists alike, a chance to spend a fun-filled, spirited week with a Jewish focus. The theme this year is - "Generations: From Abraham to Bubbe, Our Family Tree." We accept children of all faiths and backgrounds.
Camp Director, Andrea Shupack, has worked in formal and informal Jewish education for over 12 years. She brings lots of fresh ideas, passion, and experience to her third year as camp director. Staff includes many well-trained counselors and specialists, bringing sports, art, music, Israeli dancing, drama, Jewish learning, outdoor activities, and much more.
Tuition is $225 per child. Sibling discount is available. Overnight Shabbat experience for campers entering 5th-7th grade an additional $40 per camper.
