Benefit Screening of "American Aloha" film with Hula pre-show

On Saturday, March 12th, at 7:30pm, an intimate showing of the film American Aloha: Hula Beyond Hawai’i will take place at Houston’s Custom Framing and Fine Art, at 270 East Main Street in Ashland. Prior to the screening, audience members will enjoy a 20-minute hula performance with dancers from Ashland’s very own Hula School, Ka Pi’o O Ke Anuenue. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the school as its dancers prepare for a June performance at the 50th Anniversary Celebration of historic Pu’uhonua O Honaunau Park on the island of Hawai’i. Tickets are $7-$10 and seating will be limited to only 50 viewers. Early arrival is highly recommended. For more information, please call 541-482-7033.
