Attitude of Gratitude Gathering

Dear Peace Village Friends,

We have a very special evening planned for you this Thanks Giving weekend. It is our Attitude of Gratitude Gathering on Saturday evening, November 28th at the Havurah on N. Mountain Ave. in Ashland. This promises to be a very sweet evening, with conscious music and kirtan, beautiful voices, a lovely space to dance or sit and listen, delicious snacks (including coconut bliss!) and chai and tea, a silent auction, and more.... plus there will be a Balinese-style Temple Mask Dance performed by Ashland’s own Liquid Fire Mantra. If you are in town or anywhere nearby, please come join us. If you have heard Shimshai and Jaya Lakshmi before, you know what I mean... they are both amazing! If you haven’t heard them, you might want to click on one of the links below (scroll down) to listen to some of their music online. They will each be accompanied by an accomplished drummer (on hand drums)... MJ GreenMountain (founding member of Hamsa Lila) will be accompanying Shimshai, and Marco Zonka will drumming with Jaya Lakshmi. In addition -- as an extra treat -- Lakshmi will be singing backup vocal with Shimshai. This will be an evening to remember! Please come, bring your friends, your family, and your Thanksgiving guests. This is a Peace Village 365 event. Join together with your village in celebration! There will be a silent auction to help raise funds for Peace Village events in 2010. This will be a great opportunity for you to pick up some wonderful gifts for yourself or friends while supporting community. We’ll also have a few choice vendors of amazing wares, including Liquid Fire Mantra’s jewelry and Shakerman’s worldwide percussion instruments.
