Most people are familiar with the circular chart of astrology. It is very useful, but static and limited -- it only shows one moment of time. But astrology by its very nature is dynamic -- planets change position as time changes. To show the changes of position we need a dynamic chart, what I'm calling an astrological timeline, also known as a graphical ephemeris. The graphical ephemeris is very useful, at least as valuable as the static chart, but unfortunately very few people know of them or how to use them. This lecture aims to overcome those limits.

This talk will start with the basics of what an ephemeris is and what a graph is, then proceed to simple examples of the graphical ephemeris, finally working up to many more complex examples of how the graphical ephemeris is used. Along the way we will take a look at the past and future of the United States. This lecture is suitable to all levels of astrological knowledge -- no strange new terms will be introduced.
