Astrology in Ashland opens our new year of presentations with a panel of local astrologers discussing Planetary Events: Fall/Winter 2010, important upcoming planetary patterns and events.
Mary Plumb will welcome everyone, give an overview of the Astrology in Ashland program for the year and a very brief introduction to the September Panel on Planetary Events. The Panel features three local astrologers, each with their own fascinating planetary theme.
Audra Stenger will speak on Jupiter – Uranus conjunctions: The Light and the Dark (includes a description of the energies of Jupiter and Uranus separately and what it means when conjunct; mundane and personal examples, the conjunction through the houses in personal horoscope, etc)
Doug Kellogg will speak on The Uranus-Pluto Square which is starting now and will continue for seven years will be the defining aspect of this decade. This talk will explore previous Uranus-Pluto quadrature aspects with a discussion of the most important periods within this square. This aspect will be explored as a phase of the Uranus-Pluto conjunction of the Sixties.
Marty Dixon will speak on the upcoming Venus retrograde in Scorpio (Oct 8th) and Venus’s meaning to the Maya. She will include Venus’s last and next heliacal rise.

Bios:
Mary Plumb has been a student of astrology since the 1960′s. She’s had a counseling practice since 1985 and has worked with The Mountain Astrologer magazine since 1993 as writer, Book Editor and web manager. Mary teaches all levels of astrology and is the President of Astrology in Ashland.
Doug Kellogg has been an astrologer for 25+ years and a computer programmer for 35+ years. He combines these two interests to develop computer software for astrologers. Doug is the Treasurer of Astrology in Ashland.
Marty Dixon is an Evolutionary Astrologer who has counseled, applying Jeffrey Wolf Green’s teachings, for 20 years. She is a ‘Fixed Stars’ practitioner, employing Bernadette Brady’s visual astrology approach to mapping the night sky. Marty is a columnist for the “Sedona Journal of Emergence”. She teaches shamanic journeying so that everyone may be better able to ‘see’ for themselves. Marty may be contacted for phone or in-person readings at mardeluz@juno.com.
