Ashland Macintosh User's Group (AshMUG) meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Ashland Community Hospital Conference Room. The event is open to the public.
6 to 7 pm Q&A session for both beginners and advanced Mac users. Experts will be on hand.
7 to 8 pm software and hardware demonstrations and presentations. More information and directions to meeting place at www.ashmug.com
This month, Tuesday, March 12.
6-7 p.m. "Your Questions Asked & Answered" AshMUG's own gurus field questions from members and guests.
7-8 p.m. - Peter DeGroot will give a brief demonstration of Snapheal, an inexpensive but powerful application for editing and enhancing images. It has all the usual capabilities of adjusting the exposure, contrast, color, size, etc., but its biggest advantage is the ability to remove spots, scratches and even entire objects from an image. More expensive programs like Photoshop and Pixelmator can also do this, but Snapheal has automated the process very successfully and it requires a lot less skill and much less time to get satisfactory results
