COMMUNITY PANELISTS NEEDED FOR ASHLAND HIGH SENIOR PROJECTS
Ashland High School is seeking many Community Panelists to observe a few of the 230 students presenting their culminating Senior Projects.
Presentation are Friday, May 20th from 1 to 3 pm.
Senior Projects are both a AHS graduation requirement, and a culminating high school experience. Each student works with a mentor for a minimum of 20 hours, and then has 20 minutes to share with an audience of community members about experience, as well as about the Four-year Journey at AHS. The heart of the project is student reflection on what they have accomplished: what they’ve learned about, themselves, about others, about job skills, about communication and collaboration, about overcoming conflict, and about any change in attitude or about life
Friday, May 20, 2011.
Check in at Mountain Avenue Theater Lobby between 12:15 and 12:45.
Panelist will be assigned to a room where several students will present.
Presentations will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will conclude by 3:00 p.m.
Following the presentations, you are invited to attend a reception in the Commons to honor the seniors and thank the panelists.
