I attended the event with the mayoral candidates, and it was great. I really feel like this helped break the ice between me and the candidates as well as empower me as a citizen of Ashland. After the dialogue that took place I would be much more comfortable approaching any of these candidates. This function inspired me to be more involved, gave me hope for our future, and helped instill more trust in our representatives. I now plan on attending the event to meet the council members as well, and I will encourage all of my friends to do the same. Thank you!
