Musicians interested in the roulette jam, please contact Paula Reynolds at (530) 925-2770 or e-mail chicmusique@gmail.com.
* Roulette Jam - Musicians fill out a form that is folded and stapled shut, with just the instrument written on the outside. Bands are built by instrumentation only, and jammers are called a few days before the event with the time of their jam, but are not told whom they are playing with.
During the Roulette Jam, there will be a demonstration set by the all-female group No Boys Aloud, featuring Chick Music's Paula Reynolds, accompanied by drummer and mandolin player Kate Bachmann, Bassist Denise Eilers, vocalists Ana Holub and Dana Knight, and multi-instrumentalist Liz Churchill on drums, bass, trumpet, guitar, and vocals.
