St. Clair Productions presents singer/songwriter Ari Hest in concert on Saturday, November 13, 8 p.m., at the Unitarian Center, 4th and C Streets, Ashland. Already signed to Columbia Records, Hest opted out so that he could have more control over his art. He then spent all of 2008 writing and recording one new song per week, for 52 weeks, letting fans vote on the 12 best. Last March, He released his new CD, Twelve Mondays, featuring these 12 fan-selected songs.
