A special benefit concert for the Ashland Schools Foundation featuring the extraordinary guitar and vocal talents of the Hawaiian super-group Hapa, whom the New York Times calls "...the most successful Hawaiian music group in recent history" and the LA Times describes as "beautiful, fragile, spiritual, powerful." Opening will be popular local group Ha'ena, with special guest Jeff Kloetzel. The show will also feature Ashland's accomplished hula school, Ka Pi'o O Ke Anuenue, directed by Andrea Luchese, as well as professional hula by Heali’i Stanley, a former Miss Pacific Islander 2005.
