Monthly at the Medford Senior Center the Southern Oregon office of the Alzheimer's Association offers a free class on a different Alzheimer's or related dementia topic.August 24th will be "Alzheimer's 101". This is a vital topic for those with concerns about dementia, for themselves or for a loved one.We will discuss what Alzheimer's is, warning signs of Alzheimer's, communication strategies when talking with a person with dementia and what resources are available for caregivers and the dementia patient.The program is FREE but we do ask that participants register by calling 541-772-2273
