For years KS Wild and our allies have been defending southern Oregon from the proposed Jordan Cove liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal and the associated Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline. We’d like to invite you to join us and the Justseeds Artists’ Cooperative for an evening discussion and art exhibit, “We Agree: A Crisis in Common”.

In 2009 members of the Justseeds Artists'' Cooperative from Oregon teamed up with the Taring Padi printmaking cooperative in Indonesia. Together they created two giant blockprints illustrating the impacts of liquefied natural gas development in the artists’ respective regions. The prints created by the artists’ collectives aim to illustrate the impacts our energy dependency has created and to inspire global solidarity in the face of projects that threaten our wildlands and rural communities.

Please join us for a special, interactive event to discuss and view artists’ representations of similar struggles around the world, discuss their work and travels, and to hear about important upcoming opportunities to protect our region from LNG.

Reception at 5:30PM, Program begins at 6PM
